Gerlinde serves as Deputy Director for Security Cooperation with currently 35 NATO partner countries. These range from Ukraine and Georgia, via Bosnia Herzegovina, to Jordan, or Colombia. The goal is crisis prevention, and to empower partners through reforms in the security sector. In previous positions at NATO, Gerlinde lead NATO\u2019s Communications Services (2003-2012), where she was responsible for all NATO publishing work online and in print; and NATO\u2019s Public Relations Services (2012-2019), where she guided NATO\u2019s engagement with audiences in all NATO nations and partner countries across the globe. Gerlinde holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from Muenster University, Germany.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
