{"id":1361,"date":"2020-09-21T11:28:00","date_gmt":"2020-09-21T09:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2024.igrzyskawolnosci.pl\/en\/?p=1361"},"modified":"2021-01-21T11:46:01","modified_gmt":"2021-01-21T10:46:01","slug":"become-fg2020-volunteer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/2024.igrzyskawolnosci.pl\/en\/become-fg2020-volunteer\/","title":{"rendered":"Become FG2020 Volunteer!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Join the group of volunteers who will work hand in hand with the organizers during Freedom Games 2020, so that this year&#8217;s edition of the event is second to none!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/2417859958448665\/\">Join a Facebook Event<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who are we looking for?<\/strong><br>People of all ages, with knowledge of English (communicative level or higher), sociable, responsible, creative, flexible, as well as entrepreneurial and well-organized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Availability<\/strong><br>During this year&#8217;s edition, i.e. November 13-15, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We are looking for volunteers to help in the following areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>reception service;<\/li><li>audience and hall service;<\/li><li>special guests service.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Often, however, the functions of individual areas overlap, so we appreciate flexibility and the ability to react to unusual situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why is it worth it?<\/strong><br>Freedom Games are a unique, interdisciplinary forum enabling exchange of ideas between intellectuals and artists. It is a unique opportunity to meet high-profile figures from the world of politics, economy, the media, human rights, music, and art. Moreover, each volunteer will receive a certificate confirming their involvement in the organization of the event. Completing a student internship while volunteering is also possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We do not provide refunds for travel and accommodation costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(!) Application deadline: October 7, 2020, 23:59<\/strong>. After recruitment, we will invite selected people for an interview during which we shall explain the specificity of the event and the scope of assigned responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to become a volunteer?<\/strong><br>To become a volunteer, fill out an <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/mtFR7RJ9Sb8zP5fo6\">online form<\/a>, which shall be available until October 7, 2020. We will conduct interviews with selected candidates. In the application form, please specify your availability during the forum and verifyyour contact details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/mtFR7RJ9Sb8zP5fo6\" target=\"_blank\">FILL IN THE ONLINE FORM<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As in previous years, we also invite seniors to cooperation. We would also like to remind you that a minor who has reached the age of 16 may become a volunteer, but must submit a written consent from the parent or a legal guardian, no later than on the day of commencement of volunteering at the forum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those who already were volunteers during Freedom Games 2019 or previous editions do not need to fill in the online form.
