Zuzana Kovačič Hanzelová

Zuzana Kovačič Hanzelová is a Slovak journalist known for her political reporting. In 2018 she left public TV and Radio of Slovakia and sparked a national debate about media independence and political influence on public institutions. Following this, Hanzelová joined Denník SME, a leading Slovak independent newspaper and online platform, where she has continued her work in political journalism. At Denník SME, she is known for her interviews and analyses, as well as her show, in which she speaks with key figures about current political, social, and economic issues in Slovakia. She also covers critical societal issues, including gender equality and minority rights of Romas communities.
