From 1991 to 2009, Ute held the position of Head of Commercial Department at Dresdner Bank. From 2011 to 2013, she headed the Berlin office of the Union for Eastern and Central Europe (since 2014, the East European Union of German Economy) and then became executive and later managing director of the organization and has kept a similar position in the Eastern Committee of the East European Union of German Economy. Since May 2020, Ute Kochlowski-Kadjaia leads the Russia in exile and Central Asia office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.
