Prof. Tomasz Jurczak is the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection of the University of Lodz and is the head of the UNESCO Chair on Ecohydrology and Applied Ecology. For over 20 years he has been conducting research in the field of ecohydrology, ecological biotechnologies, for improving water quality. He deals with implementation work in the field of restoration and protection of aquatic ecosystems and adaptation of cities to climate change. He is the author and co-author of over 50 scientific publications in the field of ecology and ecohydrology. He has coordinated and implemented over 20 national and international research and implementation projects.
