Piotr Klodkowski, orientalist and political scientist, professor at Jagiellonian University, visiting professor at the University of Rochester (New York State) in 2019, 2021, 2023 and 2025. Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to India (2009-2014) with accreditation in Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Author of many publications on Asian issues, including “Asian Great Game,” “Empire of the Hanuman God,” “On the Crack Within Civilization,” “The Perfect Taste of the Orient,” “Homo mysticus of Hinduism and Islam.” Winner of the “Znak” and Hestia awards named after Rev. J. Tischner and the Beata Pawlak Batory Foundation. He lives in Rzeszow, near the NATO base.
