Paweł Kaczmarczyk is director of the Centre of Migration Research at the University of Warsaw and professor at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw. He is also coordinating the Centre of Excellence in Social Sciences at the same University. He is member of the Committee on Demographic Studies and the Committee on Migration Research of Polish Academy of Sciences.
His main research areas include causes and consequences of labour migration, mobility of the high-skilled, migration and the welfare state, migration policy, methodology of migration research, labour economics, population economics and demography.
