Magda Melnyk – reporter, political scientist by education, specialising in Hispanic countries, political transformations, social movements and women’s rights. Publicity manager of the City Library in Łódź, programme consultant of the Freedom Games. She has published, among others, in “Gazeta Wyborcza”, “Plus Minus”, “Wysokie Obcasy”, “Polityka” and “Newsweek”. Published by the LIBERTÉ! in 2019, her book on nationalism in Spain “Why is Spain crackling?” was published. Since 2021, she has been interviewing writers as part of the podcast ‘Books with a punchline’. In 2022, her latest book “Mexico, my love. The story of Elena Poniatowska”.
