Latchezar Bogdanov has more than 20 years of experience in economic research. His focus is macroeconomic and monetary policies, fiscal and tax reform, liberalization and deregulation, labour market and competition. Latchezar Bogdanov is also a founding member of the Bulgarian Macroeconomic Association and a member of the jury of Forbes Business Awards – Bulgaria. He is regular author of economic analysis published in mainstream and specialized press, and co-author of several books. Since June 2019 Latchezar Bogdanov is chief economist at the Institute for Market Economics – the oldest independent economic think-tank in Bulgaria, established in 1993.
