Graduated in Political Science from Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz. He completed postgraduate EMBA studies at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and postgraduate studies in social communication at the European School of Law and Administration in Warsaw.
From 2010 to 2019 he was a councilor in the Włocławek City Council, serving as its President in 2017 and 2018. From 2019 to 2023 he was the Deputy Mayor of Włocławek. From 2023 to 2024, he was Secretary of State in the Ministry of Development and Technology.
In April 2024 he was elected Mayor of Włocławek. He has held this position since 7 May 2024. He is a member of New Left.
