Born in Gryfino, English teacher, social and political activist. Participant in Women’s Congresses, activist and one of the leaders of the Women’s Strike. Co-founder of the “We are” social committee, which brings together caregivers of people with disabilities.
Since 2019, she has been a member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, in the IX term as a member of the Social Policy Committee and a member of the Standing Subcommittee on the Family and the Standing Subcommittee on Persons with Disabilities. In the X Sejm, Chairwoman of the Social Policy and Family Committee. On December 13, 2023, appointed to the office of Minister for Equality.
