Janusz Cieszynski was responsible for the biggest digital government projects that happened in Poland between 2018 and 2023.
As the deputy minister of health he implemented e-prescriptions, e-referrals and the e-patient service which still holds the record for the most users in Polish e-government history. As Secretary of State and Minister of Digital Affairs he delivered mObywatel – an app which made Poland the largest EU Member State with a fully functional e-id in July 2023. Janusz led the team that successfully negotiated terms with Intel which led to the announcement of the largest foreign direct investment in the history of Poland.
