Clotilde Armand

Clotilde Marie Brigitte Armand is a French-born Romanian politician and businesswoman. Since October 2020, she has been the Mayor of Bucharest’s Sector 1. Between July 2019 and November 2020, she served as a Member of the European Parliament, where she was a member of the budgets committee and worked on negotiating the EU budget for 2020 on behalf of the Renew group. In 2002, she worked for Airbus in France and Germany. In 2005, she became the IT director of the Romanian branch of the gas distribution company GDF Suez. From September 2013 to 2017, she was head of the Romanian and Bulgarian branches of the French engineering company Egis.
