Cezary Grabarczyk

Lawyer. Graduate of the University of Lodz, graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration. He served his lawyer’s apprenticeship at the District Bar Council in Lodz. From 1988 to 1996 he was an assistant at the Department of Constitutional Law at the University of Lodz. In 1980, he co-founded the Independent Students’ Union at the Faculty of Law at the University of Lodz. From 1999 to 2001 he was the first deputy governor of Lodz, and before that deputy chairman of the Public Procurement Office. From 2007 to 2011, he was Minister of Infrastructure in Donald Tusk’s government, from 2011 to 2014 he was Deputy Speaker of the Polish Sejm, and from 2014 to 2015 he was Minister of Justice in Ewa Kopacz’s government.

Member of the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth terms of the Sejm. Lover of sailing, skiing and gardening. Married, two children.
