Chairman of the Committee on Pedagogical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences (2011-2019), member of the Council for Scientific Excellence (from 2019). Scoutmaster. Editor-in-chief of “Studia z Theorii Wychowania”. Author, among others, of 47 scientific monographs and editor of 4 volumes of the international academic textbook “Pedagogy”. Academic interests: general pedagogy, philosophical and theoretical foundations of education, comparative pedagogy, andragogy and (early)school pedagogy.
