Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz

Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz is a MEP of the 10th term, where he serves as a member of the Committee on Constitutional Affairs (AFCO) and the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE). In 2023-2024, he served as Minister of Culture and National Heritage, and in 2013-2014, he was Minister of Home Affairs.

B. Sienkiewicz is also a member of the Sejm of the 9th and 10th term and co-founder of the Centre for Eastern Studies. A historian by education, he graduated from the Jagiellonian University. He is the author of publications and books and a laureate of the Grand Press award. In his private life, he describes himself as a lover of dogs, skiing and the thought of Karl Barth.
