Alexander C. R. Hammond is a Program Manager at the Rising Tide Foundation, where he oversees a portfolio of grants and projects that promote the rule of law, free markets, and limited government worldwide. He is the founder of the Initiative for African Trade and Prosperity, a free trade fellow at the Institute of Economic Affairs, a senior fellow at African Liberty, and a fellow at EPICENTER.
Alexander’s popular publications have been translated into more than a dozen languages and appeared in major newspapers across Europe, North America, and Africa. His recent book “Heroes of Progress: 65 People Who Changed the World” was published by the Cato Institute in March 2024.
