After his studies in Maastricht and Berlin, Kristof worked at the German Chancellery in Berlin in the directorate for European affairs. Between 2010-2019, he served in different positions at the European Parliament before joining the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in 2019. Before moving to Jerusalem in 2023, he was responsible for Lebanon and Syria in the Beirut office of the Foundation.
