Christal is the Executive Director of Comms Hub, a nonprofit supporting CSOs with evidence-based communications. With over 20 years of experience, including 16 in the nonprofit sector, she is a seasoned human rights thought leader passionate about democracy and social justice. She has a proven track record in grantmaking, advocacy, and policy analysis, supporting civil society and fostering democratic debate globally.
Prior to joining Comms Hub, Christal was Senior Program Manager at Open Society Foundations, where she led grantmaking to strengthen democracy. Earlier, at the Bertelsmann Foundation, she designed and launched projects and conducted policy analysis.
