Sławomir Kalinowski

An associate professor of economics, author of over 150 scholarly publications, including the monographs ‘The Concept of Smart Villages: Examples from Poland’ (2022, with Ł. Komorowski and A. Rosa), ‘The Standard of Living of Rural Populations with Uncertain Incomes’ (2015), and the report ‘Seeds of Discord: An Analysis of Agricultural Protests’ (2024, with W. Czubak and B. Pepliński). He has led projects on the concept of smart villages (for the National Rural Areas Network), poverty and social exclusion, and energy poverty (for the Mazovian Center for Social Policy). His research interests focus on the precarization of rural areas and the standard of living of rural residents.
