Alex Freiheit (born in Gniezno) singer, performer, poet known from the duo SIKSA. She has played over 350 concerts in Europe and Asia, from small clubs and squats to major festivals. Co-author of films, music videos and author of plays. Collaborates with contemporary dance artists including Natasha Gerlach, Auguste de Boursetty. For years, she has co-managed the Lighthouse on Venea in Gniezno, where she organises cultural events. Columnist for “Dwutygodnik” and “Gazeta Magnetofonowa”. Winner of the Paszport Polityki award for 2020, participant in the Shape Platform 2021 programme. Twice nominated for the Fryderyk Award in the category of poetic music.
